Preparation

Your provider will assess your skin during a consultation and create a customized treatment plan based on your specific concerns. Avoid direct sun exposure and discontinue use of retinoids or exfoliating products for several days before your appointment.

Treatment

A clear gel is applied to the treatment area and the BBL device glides over your skin, delivering gentle pulses of light. Most patients describe the sensation as a quick snap on the skin that fades swiftly. CoolComfort™ technology keeps the skin cool throughout the procedure, so topical anesthesia is not necessary.

Recovery

Your skin may feel warm for 30–60 minutes after treatment and appear slightly pink. Pigmented spots may temporarily darken before flaking off over the following days. Avoid direct sun exposure and wear SPF 50+ sunscreen for at least 72 hours. Most patients return to normal activities immediately.
